5.0 out of 5 stars Every car, truck and RV should have one of these., March 20, 2011

This is a ideal item to have. I use mine on my RV, and the timing couldn't come any better. One night I left my bathroom lights on and it drained my main and Aux batteries dead. After about 24 hours it'll charge them right up. And I just leave it plugged in at all times, so it'll never go dead ever again. It even charges light from the moon, so it works 24/7. There's even a little LCD light that flashes when it receives energy, without it being plugged in.
I think that every car, truck, and RV should be manufactured to have one build into it. Get one, you will be glad you did.

5.0 out of 5 stars Practical specs, August 9, 2010

Here in Holland you could by them for 10 euro's. The voltage in my tested optimum situation is 22+ voltage with arround 100 miliamps.
So in optimum conditions you generate 1 amps per day for charging the battery. Needless to say this is in practical use for charging
batteries not enough. But to keep the amps for the battery up it does the job and thats what this panel intended to do.

Now if you buy 2 of these and use a dc dc converter you get lower voltage but higher amps if i am not mistaken. And then you perhaps
have enough power to drive a waterpump for a fountain in the garden. The misses wil be glad then also :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Works for me !, January 21, 2008

I have been using this battery maintainer in West central Ohio since 12/21/07 and it really seems to be doing a good job. It's been down to zero degrees here a couple of times and after sitting outside all day at work , my truck starts up instantly , despite having a 5 year old battery . Thinking about putting one in my RV also . It must be remembered that this is a maintainer , not a charger . Could be a lifesaver . I would recommend it to anybody .
