Tommie Townsley was born and reared in Sulphur, Louisiana where she presently resides. She is a mother and grandmother who believes that reading is essential for a child's success. She has written/published five children's books for ages 3-9 years. These books have beautiful watercolor illustrations by artist, Anne Dentler. Ms. Townsley strives to teach and inspire children everywhere about Louisiana and its unique culture.
