Great for fountian pens
The Gold Fibre legal pads are the only canary legal pads I can find that don't bleed when using a fountian pen. I recommend them to anyone who uses a fountain pen.

Warning: only 16lb paper!
This isn't the high-quailty Ampad paper. Notice the color of the strip across the top. These pads are flimsy 16-lb paper, not like the ones with the reddish strip. I wish Ampad had more useful product numbers.

Carbon on papyrus is historically the most stable form of communication and documentation. So, if you need to have some solid representation of your thoughts, meeting notes, drafts of papers or books...these light weitght, non-glaring canary yellow pads are the next best thing to papyrus. Elecetronic media deteriorates over time, systems change and eventually your electronic words, drafted with whatever care you took to conceieve them, are banished beyond the limits of retrieval...so if you want to be able to find what you have written - even when power is lost - this is the paper you want.
