The High Power Wireless-N 600mW Smart Repeater expands the range of any 802.11b/g/n wireless network by repeating the signal from a wireless router and redistributing it in a new, "extended" location. The SR10000 is equipped with advanced dual 600mW amplifiers and 5dBi detachable high gain antennas to extend Wi-Fi coverage by a staggering 10,000 sq ft. The Premium Series Smart Repeater features network bridging capabilities that allow additional networking devices such as PCs and network switches to attach to one of the five available wired network ports for network access. I have a larger house and have gone through many range extenders. (Linksys, Netgear, Hawking, Belkin) I also use a Amped SR300 at my office at work and it works great. I must say from using all repeaters i could find so far, Amped repeaters are the best. Performance and interface wise they are top notch. So... when they came out with the SR10000 i was very excited to try this in my 5000 sq foot home. My wife and children like to use their IPads in the backyard by the pool and my current setup wasn't cutting it. Anyways, i got one of these, went through the very simple setup and was up and running in about 2 minutes.

This one is more advanced then the SR300 one with an updated interface so it was a pleasure to use. the range is about double also. i love it. Amped about Amped!

Our broadband connection is an office separated from our house by about 100 feet. Never been able to get wifi in the house before. Did some research and bought the Amped Wireless high power smart router (wireless n 600 mw) and the high power smart repeater (wireless n 600 mw). The router got wifi throughout the house, from 3 bars to 5 bars on my Kindle Fire. With the addition of the repeater, we now have 5 bars of wifi everywhere in the house. The set up for both took me less than an hour - and I've never touched a router before, nor am I especially techie. The setup instructions were very clear and setup was easy. Very happy with the purchase.

WOW!!!
What else can I say about this item. Maybe the very quick & easy installation I found in this repeater. I usually give myself 60-90 minutes when I install/set up stuff like this. The only problem I had was logging in to the [...]! I realized after a couple attempts when the screen kept going to a website, that I had to log off the Internet...then do it. After that, within 5 minutes I was waiting for the unit to do its it's 2 minute reboot.
I'm running 100% connectivity (full bars) on all my computers, iPad, tablets, phones & so on all through my 4400/sq ft home, the pool area & my yard. I have a shop that's 73yds from my back door, & I get a fair to moderate signal even there...it's a 40'x80 full metal building. So, I have nothing but Good Things to say about this repeater. In fact, I purchased Amped Wireless's High Power Pro Smart repeater, High Power Pro Access Point 600mw, & the High Power 600mw Pro USB Adapter (desktop stand/ pole/wall mounts came with all 3) so I can have 100% connectivity at my shop & every square inch of the 17 acres I live on. All but this main repeater are indoor/outdoor use. The only problem with coverage like this, is security & the Amped Wireless units all have security built in...so, I'm covered.
The only slight problem is, the rural electric company( carrol electric) likes to "blink" the electricity several times a day which means you have to log back on the wi fi & that means going thru the security key entry. If it wasn't for that Lil problem, I'd have nothing bad to say. But that problem isn't anything to do with Amped Wireless Repeaters...it's the problems those of us who receive our electricity from a Rural electric co-op like Carrol Electric CO-OP have to live with. I only mention it for those who notice that they are always having to log back in to their Wi-Fi...they will know its NOT the Amped Wireless units causing the problem, so there's nothing to fix except to get a battery back-up to cover the "Blinks"!
As far as the price, well I've got no problem with the price. This repeater is right in line with any quality repeater & it works just like its advertised it will. If your wanting a repeater that'll have you covered over a Very Large area, then look no further, It's worth the money & it's so darn easy to set up....no installation CD's to pre-load.
With the other items I've purchased ... My coverage area is said to be 1.5 Miles !!!!!! Does "Going a Little Overboard" come to mind? Ha!
