5.0 out of 5 stars Great little amp!
This little amp packs quite a punch. Not enough to play over a heavy handed drummer or a guitar player turned to 11, but it does do a great job. I use mine primarily as a practice stack with the 210 cab and I have no complaints at all.

Excellent product!

2.0 out of 5 stars Sounds good, poor build quality.
Had high hopes for this head but was left disappointed with the build quality. Poor fit of the casing and a cheap looking control panel - even the Ampeg logo was crooked - plugged it in and heard nothing but scratchy noise. Turns out the gain pot was bad...OK, these things happen, so I returned it and ordered a replacement. Also purchased the matching cabinet which had no...

Also purchased the matching cabinet which had no evident problems other than looking somewhat cheap and flimsy. The pots on the second unit were very tight, almost unable to turn them without significant extra effort - and once again, very noisy. I tried to listen past the problems and will admit that the tone was there, but I couldn't justify paying that price for new gear of such poor quality and I didn't feel confident that the amp would hold up for very long. The second one never left the store, I got my money back and I'm looking at the micro GKs and GenzBenz models. You can get far more bang for your buck elsewhere, unless of course you must have an Ampeg. Beware.
