Awsome Ampeg Sound, June 24, 2011

Two words best describe this amp, powerful and versatile. With ample ways to adjust it's sound you can get all the power you need to drive what ever speaker cabinet you choose. I really wanted to stay completely Ampeg but cost was a consideration until I found Avatar bass speaker cabs. Ended up with a 4 tens 8 ohm model and it fits well with the Ampeg. It also leaves me the possibility of adding a second cab with a three-way 15 configuration to round out the sound...the Ampeg has plenty of power to drive it all. Many amps have a sweet spot where they sound the best but the Ampeg keeps a consistent great sound at all frequencies and volumes.
