5.0 out of 5 stars I love this CD
I know it's different stokes for different folks. But I love this album. I am big fan of Errortype:11! I think they have a great music and lyrics. It gets me going in the morning and is a great work CD. But, that's me. If you like Knapsack or Jimmy Eat World you owe it to yourself to check this out.

1.0 out of 5 stars This is unfortunate.
Errortype:11 started out with a fantastic debut that payed homage to bands such as Quicksand and Orange9mm, putting a slightly more "pop" feel to the vocals. Unfortunately, that was the top of the downward slide, the end of which was this crapfest.

I have no idea how this happened, but this band basically turned into a less "raw" version of The Goo Goo...

I have no idea how this happened, but this band basically turned into a less "raw" version of The Goo Goo Dolls. Not that I'm not a fan of pop music, but this is just not very well executed. They should've abandoned all the ingredients of their previous alt/post-hardcore sound and just turned down, because the production of the record does not match the Disney-esque melodies and lyrical content.

In short: don't waste your pesos on this. Go to the used bin at your local store and buy some old Bush records, instead.

1.0 out of 5 stars Quite possibly the worst band I've ever seen., October 14, 2000

I think the members of this band might describe their sound as "power-pop." However, Errortype:11 owe way more musically to Hootie And The Blowfish than Cheap Trick. If some of the lyrics in the songs were changed, Errortype:11 could very easily pass for a Christian Rock band. I have no idea how these guys manage to get shows at punk rock dives across the country, but I'm thinking that it has something to do with misleading promo packs and a desire to gain "cred." Anyway, this record is filled filled to the brim with lame commercial alt-rock and overdone "melodic" vocals that sound like there's a hyperactive tapeworm wreaking havoc on the business end of the vocalist's digestive tract. Yes, they really DO have a song called "Things That Make You Want To Kiss Me," and I was actually very suprised that "Fly Away" wasn't a cover of the Lenny Kravitz song of the same name.

Seriously, this band is even worse than Gameface. Oh wait. They did a split record together. Go figure.

Avoid at all costs.
