If you do a lot of Bible study, I believe that a topical bible is a very useful tool! The Amplified Topical brings exact meanings and a historical context to the research you are doing. Likewise, If you need to locate something in a hurrry, the Topical bible is arranged in a way that makes this possible. NOTE:This does NOT replace a concordance. This is more of a topic tool, rather than a word search tool. It is subject based and narrows your scriptural search down drastically! Be blessed!

The Amplified bible translation is in my opinion the easiest to understand translation of the Bible available. Written in common modern English, the words chosen in translation are both easy to understand and chosen with a view towards the proper emphasis as taken in context. Combining this with a topical reference, it is easy to study almost any subject you can imagine. All in all an EXCELLENT translation and highly recommended.

The Amplified Topical Reference bible is really all you need for a simple and in depth exhaustive search of many, if not all, topics. I purchased this bible, and it's the one I mainly use because apart from it being Amplified, which gives more insight to meanings right within the verses themselves, it has maps at the end, along with an extensive concordance, and a reference section organized by topics. It's like having Strongs Concordance at the end. It really helps me a lot when I'm studying or preparing a preaching. REALLY GOOD PURCHASE!! I RECOMMEND IT 100%!!

The book was delivered in a timely manner. It wasn't exactly what we expected - but we were pleasantly surprised at how read-able it is and are very glad to have it in our home. Just wish this version as well as many others would stop referring to the leviathan and behemoth as a crocodile and a hippopotamus/elephant ... try dinosaur!

Well made hard back Bible. The amplification gives in depth understanding to the Scripture. Better for study than general reading.

Excellent for researching the Word of God. The Bible says, "above all else, get understanding" and the Amplified provides deeper insight into the Word. Prepare to go into deeper depths and higher heights as you use this to study and understand God's word!

I really like the Amplified Bible with topical reference itself, it's the binding that makes the inner print hard to read. I've tried to overlook this problem, but find that shadows from light on the pages makes reading even more challenging. Eventually the binding will suffer because the book has to be bent backwards in the middle to see the print

If you want to expand your understanding of scripture, this version of the Bible will add meaning and depth to the passages. I use it to help me teach others and find the additional information highly instructive. For example, John 1:12 reads "But to as many as did receive Him and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name."

This bible is Awesome :)

I love this Amplified version more than the other 4 translations I own here at home. I feel the Amplified really reads in detail what the original scripture was meaning. I've often heard it said that the Hebrew and Greek languages that God's Word was written in are very full of emotion and meaning in ways that our American language does not typically have words to truly translate - This Amplified translation helps so much with that in my opinion. This version also has so many other study tools included that I am just beginning to tap into. What I have immediately appreciated is the referenced scripture addresses placed within the verses themselves. Many other translations will put these address notations to a side column; if it has them at all... these don't always catch my attention. Having passages noted for cross reference right within the passage itself has been really nice and very useful.

Before I only had this translation from my mobile phone's bible app. or from on-line, now I have the actually pages :) - Get This Translation.... you won't be disappointed.
