German punk rawk!, July 15, 2002
This review is from: Amplify the Good Times (Audio CD)
I downloaded this album on a recommendation from a friend, and I was so impressed immediately that I bought it right away. It's diverse punk, but mostly punkrock, from start to finish. The album makes you want to sing along and the main thing is it's just easy to listen to. I really highly recommend this album to anyone who likes Midtown, Millencolin, MxPx and other bands like that.... but maybe not quite so poppy. ;)

Solid music from Ibbenburen!, February 4, 2008
This review is from: Amplify the Good Times (Audio CD)
The Donots are great, their lighthearted music is reminiscent of Blink 182, but has grown into much more. from Pocketrock to their most recent album, you can see the changes in the depth of the music, but with a constant intensity.
Amplify the Good Times may be their best album, maybe not, that all depends on who you ask; but there is no doubt that it is one of the best German rock albums of all time.
I went so far as to re-purchase this cd from the West Coast, after I wore through the first cd I bought.
I hope everyone else who buys this listens to it as much as I did.
