I expected this item to be reasonably good but have been totally disappointed in it. The bag indicates that it should germinate in 7 to 10 days but after 6 weeks there is nothing happening. I definitely will not try this again.

This bag of grass seed had me worried for a while. Its cousin, Amturf 77001, popped out a bunch of gass in less than a week. But with a diminishing amount of patience I finally saw grass after slightly over two weeks. I suppose that unlike its cousin, which was just bare seed, this had a coating of fertilizer and whatsit on the seed that took some time to get washed off. In any case, grass is growing in this shady area and I can't ask for more. Good product.

This is a wonderful product; however, the price from Amazon far exceeds that of As Seen On TV. Unless Amazon can come up with a different price or a promotional, you should looke elsewhere.
