Reading about Marilyn's "adventure" was great, even if this story wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. It was more of the kind of story that makes you think about what's lurking in the shadows, or what's waiting for you under the bed...Bruce Coville has a knack for writing believable dialog, and for illustrating scenes as clearly as if they were on a screen in front of you. This book was easy to read, and good...what more could you ask for?

I am so exstatic that I found this series of books on Amazon. I have not been able to collect this series for a very long time. Simply because they are no longer carried, or in print. I was unable to keep my old collection due to hurricane Andrew in 92, when I lived in Miami. So i lost my whole collection, back then. But now, thanks to Amazon and their dealers I am able to get this AWESOME youg adult horror series again. Amazon? You are AWESOME!!! Thanks a mil.
