Books from this "Authors Teens Love" series are both informative and appealing for youth, because they include authors that teens really like and read, like the one on Amy Tan. The text is simple and straight-forward and includes many photographs from her life growing up. Her humanitarian work will be of interest to young adults, as well as,the section, In Her Own Words, a personal interview with Amy. The chronoloygy, awards, chapter notes and further reading & internet sites will enable readers to discover even more about Amy Tan. Recommended
