Preschoolers will enjoy following Amy as she wriggles her toes in the warm grass, smells the daisies and dandelions, finds a bee and a caterpillar, and experiences the warmth of the sun on everything in her small world. The shine and warmth of the sun are reflected in Lillian Hoban's luminous, colorful crayon illustrations. The simplicity of this book makes it a good choice for toddler story hour or for one-to-one sharing.
