Easyreader. . .reluctant readers like this reluctant hero,

I first shared Amy's Missing with my reading class when it was excerpted/serialed in The Oregonian and we entered a contest the paper held. Being a serial held the students' interest a bit more, with their questions/predictions not being able to be answered until the next edition. The "hero" is a regular guy not much older than my seventh grade readers who identify readilly with him The suspense and a surprise or two at keep the reading close, where more predictable and less thought-provoking works may not
