Also- it's great that I can order this online.

There's lots of corn and the corn is really crisp and fresh tasting while the whole soup has a mild but delicious flavor.

The soup tastes great, and I like the idea of low sodium.

Flavor Name: Lentil
While shopping at Costco recently, I tried one of the free samples of Amy's Lentil soup. I was really surprised at how delicious it was so I bought a pack of it. When I got home, my very health-conscious daughter asked me if I checked to see if it had any BPA in the lining of the can. I said that I had not. Today I spoke with a Customer Relations person at Amy's Kitchen and asked her if Amy's soup cans had any BPA. She told me that they had a "small amount," but that they were testing other cans and should have no BPA in them by next fall. What I've read is that no amount of BPA is good for you and even a small amount might cause all sorts of bad things in one's body (cancer, heart problems, etc., etc.). I'm not trying to point the finger at Amy's products in particular, just make people aware that even CERTIFIED ORGANIC foods can be packaged in unhealthy containers and consumers should be aware of this.

Flavor Name: Thai Coconut
I have pretty much been living on Amy's food for about 8 years now, when I can't eat fresh or am too lazy to cook from scratch. The Berliner family (Amy's Mom and Dad) has done the world a major service in proving that frozen and canned food can be truly healthy. (Please stay private! Going public and thinking mainly of profits will ruin the food, no doubt.)

Their pesto pizza is so good it's ridiculous. I've eaten about a thousand of those, maybe two. All their products are hand-made from organic ingredients, and the prices are more than fair considering the quality.

I love Thai food, especially Tom Kha and green curry (hint hint, Miss Amy!). This soup holds up well to some of the better TKs I've had in good Thai restaurants. It is spicy but not overwhelming, creamy but not too thick, and in general simply dang yummy!! Easily the best canned Thai soup I've ever had (except for Satay soups, made by Austin's wonderful Foo Swasdee, but sadly her canned food biz stopped a while back (her restaurants are still here, though, and still great. Foo is a wonderful lady!)).

Good Thai chow is almost everything I want from food: nutritious and healthy and extremely tasty, with many flavors complementing but not overwhelming each other. This soup is all that.

And as always with organic food, by buying this not only are you getting the healthiest food, you're helping support people who care about the health of our planet, and not supporting people who don't.
Many thanks to the Berliner family for making the best pre-packaged food on the planet.

I could live on this stuff.

Wait...I do...

Flavor Name: Fat Free Vegetable
I have to say this is the best canned soup I have ever eaten. The fact that it is organic with no yucky processed stuff makes me even happier. You don't have to season this soup, at least I don't, it tastes great just heated out of the can. It flies off the organic foods shelf at my local grocery and this 12 pack is the only way to keep it in the pantry. I seldom find anything I am this happy about so try it you will love it!

Flavor Name: Split Pea
This soup isn't your traditional pea soup. I expected this to be a thick, rich, pea flavored soup. It is not. It is rather thin and the onion taste is stronger than the split pea taste. As a soup, it is very tasty, nice texture and very healthy. Do not buy this soup expecting a thick pea soup, just expect a tasty soup, which is what it is. Amy's doesn't make anything that is "bad". Good soup, not pea though.

Flavor Name: Low Salt Chili Verified Purchase
In a world where canned chili is usually filled with fat, salt, and preservatives, Amy's chili is a welcome relief to those of us who are trying to eat healthier. Chili is a favorite in our family but I can't seem to make it very well for some reason. It's just not my forté. However, other commercially-made chilis are so very high in sodium and fat that we just had to go without chili for a while. When we tried this, we weren't sure what to expect.

The results were delicious! It's just the right amount of spicy, you don't miss the salt, and it's bursting with flavor. This chili is even good straight-out-of-the-can so if you live in a hurricane area, this is a must for your hurricane kit. I highly recommend this for chili-lovers who are trying to have a healthier diet.

Flavor Name: Chili with Vegetables Verified Purchase
Vegan. Organic. Great beans plus veggies alternative to 'classic' bean chili. Bell peppers are the most prominent added flavor note. Great with organic tortilla chips or crackers. Made with organic bell peppers, organic potatoes, organic carrots, organic corn in addition to typical chili ingredients. Consider adding even more of your favorite organic veggies such as tomatoes, bell peppers, or garbanzos for even more chunkiness and flavor note variety. The veggies change the taste and mouth feel with every spoonful. Great base for a party dip. A small amount of blended organic jalapenos provides some bite. If you prefer, can add a spoonful of agave nectar to increase sweetness. No GMO ingredients. Another vegan wonder from Amy's kitchen! Also like Amy's traditional chilis such as Amy's Organic Medium Chili, 14.7-Ounces (Pack of 12) or Amy's Organic Black Bean Chili, 14.7-Ounces (Pack of 12). This review is out there for those for whom this makes a difference. See all of my reviews for more great choices. Check out "Vegan Grocery Favorites" and "Vegan Grocery Top Ten" in Listmania. Your "helpful" votes count and will be greatly appreciated to benefit the search of others. Thank you.
