I'm a big fan of Amy's food and this is another stellar offering. The flavors are authentic and this really tastes like a restaurant quality soup, not a typical canned soup. I'm not even a big fan of soup, with the exception of a few but this one really stands out as both flavorful and healthy. It's high in fiber and iron and is relatively low in fat, especially given the exceptional taste. I've got my partner and my mother hooked on this now. I can't find it at any stores, even co-ops don't seem to offer it, so I'm happy to have discovered this gem here on Amazon. This is the second order I've placed in the past few months! I don't get tired of it.

This one is my favorite of Amy's soups. It is vegan and delicious! You can use it as a dip it is so thick!

For a prepared soup, this was very good. Perfectly spiced. I ate it as soup, but you could pour it on some basmati rice, add a green, and you have dinner.

I've tried many of Amy's Organics soups, and this is now my new favorite. It has fabulous flavor, but nothing overwhelming. A perfectly balanced soup with flavors that are sure to keep you coming back for more! Enjoy!!

Okay, maybe it's not traditional Indian-flavored as one reviewer suggested. I'm not qualified to judge, but it's certainly not like the canned soup your mother used to serve you, either. Wonderful, delicate flavor. The mix of labeled spices seems just right. Not only the best lentil soup I've ever tasted, but the best CANNED soup of any kind. And organic? What's not to like?

Doesnt fill you up unless you eat it with some bread or rice but its amazing. The taste is really good. The best indian food you will ever get in a can. I was skeptical when ordering it but I'm glad I did. I've bought several boxes now and I still want to buy more even though I still have some boxes left. I cant get enough of this. This one and the spicy chilli are Amy's best soups.

Absolutey wonderful. Lots of taste, very satisfying & it's healthy too! One of my very favorite soups. :-)

If you like Indian food, this will likely be a disappointment. Yes, it's a good quality lentil soup, but with barely a hint of curry taste and no trace of delicate, traditional Indian spices. I am sorry to have bought a whole case of it. I will have to add curry and doctor every bit of it. The whole point was to find a quick, convenient canned food for when I haven't time to cook.

I'm vegetarian and like Amy's brand, but am surprised at how bland this is. Anyone can make lentil soup. I wanted traditional dal flavor...this is not it. Try Amy's vegetarian Spicy Chili. It doesn't have Indian-style flavors, but at least has some character.

This order of soup arrived in good condition and on time. It is a delicious soup and makes a hearty meal. I will order it again.
