The one fault and it is a big one, is that you cannot fully insert any USB micro b plug that I have found. The screen side actually protrudes right next to the port forcing the plug to either bend putting a strain on the socket or not fully insert. I widened the hole with a hobby knife but it is not as nice looking or feeling as a factory job. How can they produce something without trying it? I don't know. If the port for the charger plug were large enough this WOULD be the perfect skin!
The only drawback i can find is the USB cutout: too small for the cable that comes with the phone.I understand that the cable has a big connector, but they should have taken that into account. Its not a big problem though, a new (or old) USB cable that fits isnt difficult to find, but i had to take one star beacause of that.
This fit is not too loose, and not too tight.
The buttons are still easy to use.
The plastic extrudes from the sides on the front only, but the sides of the screen are not too hard to reach.
The speakers volume is not effected while the phone lays on either side.
Regarding the photo of the back of the phone, the texture and Amzer logo is much more subtle than appears, and the plastic rim does not extrude here, the smooth curve of the phones design is preserved.
The case protects against scratches and scuffs; if you need serious drop protection you should probably select a different case. (Based on experience with my Samsung phone, having a removable battery help more than a slip cover: your phone can fly apart and dissipate energy from a fall easily. I wish the Moto G did not use a captive battery.)
Case openings align with phone ports exactly. I appreciate how moldings on the right side work with the volume and power buttons -- they are easy to find and stick out less than on the bare phone.
As others have said certain USB cables (like the one that comes with the Moto G) interfere with the charging port. I elected to remove some plastic shoulder from my cable rather than trim my case. I had no problem with the headphone jack.

The image is a little deceptive with regard to the texturing on the back. It's much less coarse in reality, with a sort of light "sand blasted" effect. Read morePublished 9 days ago by Oubadah
Amazingly sturdy case. Simple and elegant. Cutouts are perfectly aligned and clean cut. Worth the spend.Published 3 months ago by Desmond Dominic D'sa
As other reviewers have written, the main downfall of the case is that the hole through which the charger must plug into is just a tad too small. Read morePublished 8 months ago by An Amazon customer
Good case for the price. Not overwhelmed, not underwhelmed. Does the job and doesn't add much bulk, which I like because I'm a girl and my pockets are small.Published 9 months ago by Tallbass
Hard back looks and feels cheap. Try the Dura-Candy flexible slim-fit TPU case instead and it's less expensive.Published 10 months ago by Bearclaw
