Editorial Reviews

'A good read for those with a keen interest in coaching prepared to think for themselves about how it might be applied in educational settings' -
Afasic News

'This is a book which trains someone to coach both at work and in their personal lives, but it does so on the basis of sound research and experience. It is nevertheless not difficult to read, and its inclusive approach makes it a standard British-based work for some time to come' -
Chartered Management Institute

'This text is based on a course delivered to real postgraduate students. Thus it is wideranging and comprehensive in scope, without being over-wordy or banal' -
Elaine Cox, Head of Research in the International Centre for Coaching and Leadership Development at Oxford Brookes University

This book is terribly written! The grammar and spelling needs a lot of work. At least I can get the concept

I purchased this book as required reading for a college course. I am not impressed by this book for several reasons. The book by its title should be an introduction to a new concept. The writers use too many "big words" when describing complex theories that the concepts are lost due to the need to assess the word use rather than the theory. I also had issues with the flow or order of information as it was presented.
