Book Description

September 1, 2012

Strap on your six-guns and saddle up for a shoot-out against a horde of angry Sasquatch, zombies, dinosaurs, and more.

The Old West has never been weirder or wilder than it has in the hands of master horror writer Brian Keene.

Morgan and his gang are on the run--from their pasts and from the posse riding hot on their heels, intent on seeing them hang. But when they take refuge in Crazy Bear Valley, their flight becomes a siege as they find themselves battling a legendary race of monstrous, bloodthirsty beings. Now, Morgan and his gang aren't worried about hanging. They just want to live to see the dawn.

Deadite Press is proud to present Brian Keene's An Occurrence in Crazy Bear Valley for the first time in paperback. Also includes the bonus short story "Lost Canyon of the Damned".

4.0 out of 5 stars Stinky Sasquatch and Six Guns October 20, 2012
By J. W
Format:Paperback
An Occurrence in Crazy Bear Valley is a novella that moves right along, never lingers into anything I consider boring and has everything the title suggests as far as six guns, outlaws, Sasquatch's that smell awful. I am not going to give a synopsis of the story, but it is classic Brian Keene. The short story that is also in the book is another old west oriented story with zombies and dinosaurs, and yes, then zombie dinosaurs. Not a whole lot a six gun can do about that. Recommendd for the Brian Keene fan in your life and the hlidays season is coming up faster than we could imagine.

This is just a quick fun read. This is purely entertainment like most of Keene's work. You're not going to learn anything, you're just going to be taken for a fun ride. Highly recommended!
