5.0 out of 5 stars Finally some real talent!
Finally, some real talent! I bought her CD after I heard she was going to sing for the president of the united states. She is everything they said she is. I am so amazed by her beautiful voice and talent. The ballads are just amazing, and the fast songs want to make you dance. A must buy CD!

3.0 out of 5 stars Latin-Pop And R & B Fusion Unfortunately Fizzles
Ana Cristina's debut album/CD is a tale of a good voice in search of a style. Displaying a little too much Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey influences, she fails to impress. Her performance on the slower ballad material is much stronger and consistent than the more up tempo songs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worthy of your serious consideration, March 12, 2007
This review is from: Ana Cristina (Audio CD)
While new to latin music, I am a serious fan of Laura Pausini's work.

Ana has demonstrated real skill on this collection and, quite unexpectedly, I am hungry for more.

My current favorite is Amarte Es Tedo. The arrangement and her performance are first class. Not to be missed.

Overall enjoyable, but nothing spectacular to lift her above the mass of other female voices on the music scene. I would however advise you to keep an eye on her, when she finds her particular groove she will be fantastic!

3.0 out of 5 stars Just A Prayer Away, January 14, 2004
This review is from: Ana Cristina (Audio CD)
Saw her muisc clip "A Un Paso De Mi Amor(Just A Prayer Away) " the other day on HTV (like mtv of Latin America) and was very impressed with her voice and beauty.

I scanned some of the dance music and thought her voice detererated when she sang the fast ones. I think they should have written better songs for her. Why do they always have to make young female singers these days to sound like Britney or Christina Aguilera all the time(hard to sound exactly like the lesser one by the way). Funny how Ana shounds a bit like Chistina. I'm not sure if she could release the second album. It makes me miss Jordan Hill a lot. Please bring her back to this cruel music industry!
