Book Description

April 2, 2000
Disregard any old materials you might have collected; the next generation of steroid books has just arrived. Anabolics 2000 is without question the most accurate and comprehensive reference manual ever printed concerning the use of performance enhancing drugs in sports. Hundreds of photograph-rich pages illustrate various forms of anabolic steroids, human growth hormone, thyroid hormones, diuretics, insulin, antiestrogens, reductase inhibitors and hypoglycemics in use by athletes. Detailed discussions include history and development of modern anabolic agents, steroid biochemistry, proper drug cycling/withdrawal and side-effect prevention. Also provided for the reader are the most specific and reliable set of techniques ever published for the detection of counterfeit pharmaceuticals, invaluable advice for the protection of not only money but also health. For example, learn how an appliance in every home can be utilized to identify counterfeit Sustanon and Testoviron, or how a pregnancy test kit can be used to spot counterfeit growth hormone!

4.0 out of 5 stars Finally, an updated anabolics book, April 27, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Anabolics 2000 : Anabolic Steroid Reference Manual (Paperback)
I got it fedex today. It is a good book. I think it is better than world anabolic reveiw because it has more pictures and they are updated pictures. Alot of companies have changed labels and names since 1996. We all know how Brovel and Tornel seem to change their boxes and bottles from blue flip top to whatever. It has updated information, and more drug profiles. A definite must have for any serious bodybuilder.

1.0 out of 5 stars I was expecting a lot more., August 1, 2000

For the price, I was expecting a lot more. It should have had more detailed information on side effects and legal issues. I wish I had saved my money as I could have found most of this information for free online.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointed, September 1, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Anabolics 2000 : Anabolic Steroid Reference Manual (Paperback)
I paid $49 US for this book and was very disappointed. I also have World anabolic review 1996 and this book is far better. Anabolics 2000 has a few newer drugs but I have found this information on the internet, so the book has been no help to me. If you have no book on steriods then wait for the price to drop before paying $49 it's not worth it.
