5.0 out of 5 stars Great virtual training ride!
This is an amazing training video shot from a camera on the handlebars (but with no vibration!). It has good music and can be used in several different ways. This is much more enjoyable than watching people spin on trainers indoors, or outdoors for that matter. This is like you are actually riding this route. I highly recommend this DVD.

3.0 out of 5 stars Another option for winter cycling
I'm a fan of the spinervals series, but every so often I like to turn on my own music and bike to my own pace. This DVD, not high def by any stretch nor wide screen, gives some essence of being outside in warm, gorgeous country while I'm spinning in the frigid Midwest. However, it does not offer any guidance or coaching, such as RPM or target heart rate (just effort...

This DVD, not high def by any stretch nor wide screen, gives some essence of being outside in warm, gorgeous country while I'm spinning in the frigid Midwest. However, it does not offer any guidance or coaching, such as RPM or target heart rate (just effort level). The graphics are pretty confusing- I still don't get all the color stripings and such. Still, it's 'way less expensive than buying a Tacx video and if you put on your own music, it ain't bad. If you need verbal encouragement, though, to help push you . . .this one is NOT for you. As long as you have reasonable expectations for this, I'd recommend it.

1.0 out of 5 stars won't give you a good workout, December 11, 2009
This review is from: Anaerobic Training! Part 1 Tour of Evergreen Colorado. Virtual Indoor Cycling Training / Spinning Fitness and Workout Videos (DVD)
Although Paul has great scenery throughout all his video productions there is no way this can give you a great workout at home.
it is a very confusing screen to follow, he sometimes stops his bike and when he does you don't know what to do..
This will NOT give you the workout that a spinerval dvd does.
I have yet to get my heartrate up to 85% of my max.. The gear display he has is too confusing and the speeds will not get you to where you want to be.
If you are just looking for a tape with great scenery this is a good tape to have BUT if you are also looking for a great workout save your money
