If you were expecting porn, this is artistic soft-core with lots of concealing shadows. And, that's about all. Ms Taormino has already written several books and this one adds very little. A picture on one side, a few sentences on the facing page, some scattered "Words to Inspire You" and, suddenly you have flipped through 179 pages. I doubt seriously that any reader will touch this book twice.

Here's the bottom line: The vagina and the anus are about an inch apart. Any position for vaginal sex will work just fine for anal sex. My only exception would be Reverse Cowgirl because bending the penis too far toward his feet can cause grievous injury. Strange to me -- Reverse Cowgirl is the position on the cover.

This book is probably one book too many but now Ms Taormino is recyling with a new tome entitled "Expert Guide to Anal Pleasure for Men." How many times can she go to the same well before the bucket comes up empty?

Five stars for soft-core artistry, one star for information, average -- three stars.

Wish I had read Seven Delta's review before I purchased this book. As stated the pictures are not explicit and the text is very basic. I guess it's o.k. if you know nothing about anal activities.

The pictures were more photographic Art, than actual real life pictures that show how to enter the positions. I felt like I was watching 2 models pose. I found the entire book to be boring and uninformative.

I read this book cover to cover. I got it on my kindle and the pictures and the captions dont exactly add up some times, thats my only complaint. But other then that a great book. She knows her stuff and I highly recomend this book to any one who would like to know more about anal sex and the technical parts. TI also has positions designed for advanced people. She also is very considerate of the fact that we all are different and have different amounts of flexability and body types. All in all a good book

This was a really good book...made talking about the subject easier for the hubby and I and has really spiced up our personal time!

I read this book immediately upon receiving it. Took about an hour and a half to read. It was very informative and humbled me a bit. I thought I knew what I was doing, but we were still moving too fast and going about things a bit wrong. Small changes made a huge difference. After being reeducated on the subject, my wife and I were able to take the things learned and spend an enjoyable, amazing evening and subsequent morning enjoying anal sex. This has been an area of frustration for me as she has had some amazing experiences with anal sex and many failed attempts which created anxiety and frustration. I could not understand why my attempts to make her feel amazing were producing the opposite results, which were in stark contrast to our successes. This book helped us.

This book has great foundation information with more emphasis on the positions and their advantages and disadvantages. The pictures showing couples in position were informative, sensual, and yet tasteful. This book also includes three great fictional stories for those who enjoy such or want some inspiration.

Once you understand how to enjoy and prepare for penile penetration, understanding the positional advantages will allow you and your partner very sensual and satisfying experiences with anal sex.

We also purchased the authors "Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Women" which is more in-depth and watched her instructional DVD. These are highly recommended as well.

if your looking for a good book to get all the virgin tips to anal sex, this is the book! its easy to read and gives lots of tips of the trade to us who havent got that much exposure in that area. very heplful

This book I like. It's not what I expected, but that's a good thing. It is informative and easy to read. The pictures are a plus (also the cons and pros of each position). Good book.

This book detailed many of the answers to questions both new-comers and experienced anal players have. The different sections in the book take a look at beginner, intermediate and advanced anal positions, as well as great literally illustrations to stimulate your creativity. The photographs of each position offer an easy to see perspective of each position it talks about.

Aside from the great position guide, this book also addresses the concerns of cleanliness, safe sex, lubrication, pregnancy and even homophobic misconceptions. Overall, I would recommend anyone, who's ever considered anal play, read this book. It opens many doors that you may not have realized you had in you and your partners sexual adventures.

This book is great!

Really taught me some new trings about anal sex that I wasn't informed about as well as some awesome positions. Don't buy this book if you expect it to help you get anymore, but buy it if you are interested in it and ways to get your compannion interested. The illustrations and photography are amazing and sensual in this book. Very happy with it. Hope you enjoy it as well!
