American Idol was very, very fortunate to find David Cook. This guy has set the standards so high for this show, how anyone will be able to surpass his talent will be a rare find.

I was fortunate to listen to Analog Heart and let me tell you. Every song on this CD is a major hit. The CD is radio friendly and you can easily hear these songs being played on Pop and Rock radio stations. Cook's talents are unbelievable. This guy has such a skill for writing and rearranging music. The lyrics are heartfelt and easily relatable. The songs on the CD can please everyone. From the pop catchy tunes of Porcelain to Straight Up, to the ballads, of Makeover, Silver, and Fall Back into You, another good Pop/rock hit. I haven't seen a talent like this since listening to the Beatles. He is that good. David Cook is going to be hugh...almost legendary. He is a genuis.

The tone of his voice grabs hold of your emotions, yet at the same time, he can rock out with his gritty vocals. He has an incredible vocal range - made of steel. In addition, he is a great guitarist and pianist.

I highly recommend this 5 star CD. Before the CD was pulled, it ranked #1 on top mp3 downloads, kicking Mariah Carey out of that #1 spot. Cook was also listed as the #1 BEST Artist on Amazon.

Be prepared to hear the songs on radio because the CD is that good. There are at 6 solid hits on this CD. I promise you will not be disappointed. Pre-Order it now!

I was able to download Analog Heart just before it was pulled from Amazon about a week and a half ago. I was very impressed with the initial listen to this CD. I don't really know what I was expecting given that I'd only heard the song, "The Truth" prior to purchasing it. But I have to say that I was more than pleasantly surprised. The CD from start to finish recounts a relationship and cycles through all the emotions you encounter from beginning to end. The lyrics are haunting and the music is aptly written to fit each song. I've had this CD for about a week and a half as I said, and I've not stopped listening to it. It's extremely rare that you find a CD where you like each track recorded, but give it a listen, I guarantee you'll like it too!

I agree with a previous reviewer who stated that it is very rare to find a CD where every single song on it is likable and enjoyable, but that is definitely the case with "Analog Heart." I was very fortunate to order this CD before it was pulled during the Idol season. This CD has a great mix of ballads and catchy tunes, all of which would be great radio hits. David's raw, emotion comes through on many of the songs, and I can see the songs as a whole telling an epic love story. David Cook is hands down THE best (male) contestant that has graced the American Idol stage. I hope this product becomes available again one day so everyone can hear the pure talent this guy has even before the world knew him as their "idol."

It is unbelievable that it is now 2011, May 2011 to be exact, and his cd is still not available to buy. I personally have a copy of his Analog Heart cd that I downloaded just before he won American Idol. Still have it as a matter of fact. Great cd!

I am one of the unfortunate ones who came to Amazon to buy David's cd JUST after it was pulled. Since that time, with no other choice, I downloaded mp3 versions from other fans (with David's blessing by the way). I have listened to it and David's first post-Idol cd very regularly for almost 3 years now. That being said, I can tell you that this is one cd that I would pay a huge premium to get my hands on the actual cd even after all this time.

It is a major loss to the music loving public that they have missed out on this fantastic album. Every song is so very catchy and earwormish. As previous comments have stated, there are several potential radio hits in the group. I cannot say which track is my favorite since it changes from day to day. This record actually won Urban Tulsa Weekly's "Absolute Best of Tulsa" award for "Best Locally Produced, Independent Album" in 2007. The album was chosen as the fourth-best CD released in 2006 by website Music Equals Life.

A multi-talented fellow, David Cook produced the record, wrote ALL the songs, sang lead & backup vocals, played guitar & piano, was responsible for the art concept, design, and layout. His voice is rich in tone and truly resonates. It just reaches out and grabs you.

I sincerely hope this record is re-pressed and re-released at some point in the future. I will be first "in line" to buy it and YOU should be, too.

I had no idea this album existed, but once I found it I went on [...] and downloaded it and haven't stopped listening to it since. I was really impressed. It's an awesome album and they really should make it available again and get the word out about it. If you find it, download it and enjoy! I can not wait for this man's next cd release. What a voice and what a song writing talent. You won't be disappointed.
