This book is very well done. He takes, in order, every book, section, and paragraph and explains the content of it in a concise way. The book is in outline form and can readily be used as a systematic theology--even though the institutes are not technically a systematic theology.

Anyone who is serious about Christian Theology must read Augustine, and then Calvin's Institutes. Love Calvin or hate him, you have to deal with him. Battles' Analysis is an extremely useful handbook for the Institutes. It helps you understand the progression of Calvin's thought, and helps you remember where and why he made various claims. Purchase Battles' book - it is the best money you'll ever spend.

This was a decent supplement for the first three books of the Institutes. Would like to see book four covered in the future.

Estoy decepcionado. El libro nunca me llegó. Tuve que recurrir a mi tarjeta de crédito para que me eliminaran el cargo. En otras compañías hubieran buscado una solución satisfactoria. En esta todo se quedó en comunicaciones, pero al fin perdí el tiempo, las gestiones y por poco el dinero. Finalmente después de casi un mes de espera, tuve que comprar el libro en una distribuidora directamente. Eso fue lo que debí hacer desde el principio.
