good contents, not that good presentation, July 20, 2000

This review is from: Analysis of the K-Epsilon Turbulence Model (Wiley-Masson Series Research in Applied Mathematics) (Paperback)
althought O. Pironneau does very good consulting books, this one is not to be taken as a text book. is highly recomended for researchers which already have some experience in the subject. as the title says, it is a very complete analysis of turbulence models, including the (perhaps) most popular one, the k-epsilon. some theoretical and numerical aspects are well presented, in a rather technical way, and it requires lots of atention to get the details.
i would recomend it for a graduate course or seminar, at least, because it is obvious the authors didn't write it thinking pedagogically.
