Good text, but useless pictures,

The pictures in this book are of so poor quality, that it is most of the time impossible to interpret them. They are just a black blur... One should think that the publisher of a book in failure analysis would emphasize good quality of the pictures, but sadly not. In this line of study it is critical to have crystall clear pictures to understand basic principles for how to interpret the microstructure of metalls in microscopes. This book fails to deliver
