About the Author

Gregory Bauer received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Oklahoma State University. He completed internship and post-doctoral training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He currently holds the title of Distinguished Psychologist at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Counseling Center. Dr. Bauer is the co-author of Brief Therapy: Short Term Psychodynamic Intervention and the editor of Wit and Wisdom in Dynamic Psychotherapy and Essential Papers in Transference Analysis.
