Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

"It's not so much how you play the game, it's how you analyze it, and prepare to play it again - for ultimately, even if you win or lose you still have to ask why?" -- writes Darin Waugh, the author of Analyze Your Fighting.

Mr. Waugh brings his unique "Analyze, Strategize, Execute," program to any martial artist willing to face his/her true skills with clear and concise commitment.

The worksheets included with this book show you how to breakdown your skills to their vital elements. They are truly unique and eye opening. You are also shown how to create a personal fighting database, how to create strategies against all types of opponents, and to even see if you qualify as a superior fighter. It even outlines how martial arts instructors can use the Analyze Your Fighting Method (A.Y.F.M.), in their schools, to increase their bottom line.

The time it took to research and create the A.Y.F.M. is apparent from the moment you open the book.

Analyze Your Fighting, is truly a unique and vital publication.

From the Author

A product of the Bruce Lee explosion in the 70's, Darin Waugh began his martial arts training twenty five years ago. His martial arts career is sprinkled with a little bit of everything, besides teaching and competing, he has also been involved in low budget movies and is co-founder of Eclectic Bujutsu (a multi-art organization).

Mr. Waugh, believes in emphasizing both the practical application of martial arts techniques (to meet the reality of fighting) and the "art" in martial arts to create innovative ways to practice and employ the martial arts.

He has written extensively about the martial arts throughout his career, and his most recent work Analyze Your Fighting, brings out the true essence of martial arts. It's for the martial artist who is not afraid to face the truth about his/her skills.

5.0 out of 5 stars Somebody finally did it!, December 31, 1999
This review is from: Analyze Your Fighting (Ring-bound)
Whether you're a competitive fighter or just a serious martial artist who sincerely wants to be as good as you can in whatever style you study, this book is a must! Finally, after reading "Analyze Your Fighting" I was able to determine exactly what I had been doing wrong in my approach to perfecting both my fighting and teaching techniques. Darin's method of scrutinizing and categorizing individual fighting trends shines a much needed light on the weak and ineffective techniques that have been keeping you from being a better fighter. I think every martial arts teacher should have a copy! I can't wait for the video!
