The Program is Great! Wish the Text was Simpler,

This review is from: Analyzing Interaction: Sequential Analysis with SDIS and GSEQ (Paperback)
The program SDIS & GSEQ is one of a kind! I have been working with the program using my observational data since it first came out in 1995. Since then, the authors have done a exceptional job updating the program to make it more "user friendly". Unfortunately, I did not find the text to accompany the program as "user friendly". The authors promote the book as a supplement to Bakeman and Gottman's "Observing Interactions: An Intro to Sequential Analyses", however the jump from the first book to the second is rather large. If only there were a book between the two, then the transition would have been easier. |
