In 1997, Jennifer Baum Lagdameo, founder and designer of Ananas, settled in the Philippines where she found inspiration in the materials indigenous to the area and the traditional textile techniques. She launched Ananas (which means "pineapple" in many languages) in 2004. Ananas is made for the cosmopolitan girl that refuses to sacrifice style for practicality.
