Everything from the title of the book to the drawings are on point. Ananse the spider is the keeper of knowledge. He owns all of the stories and shares his knowledge through stories. Through the detailed beautiful drawings and text in this book John Biggers shared the stories and beauty of West Africa with those of us not fortunate enough to physically travel there.
