Anastacia - Anastacia, October 13, 2004
This review is from: Anastacia (Bonus CD) (Audio CD)
For 6 solid months, Anastacia has been pounding the charts overseas. Somehow her success has been ignored in her home country. This is one of those records (CDs) that shines "excellent". I got my copy at Heathrow airport in London and can't stop listening.
Anastacia is real American talent. Her voice is powerful but enchanting; her lyrics touch every single one of us. And yes, she is not influenced by any Ghetto music style that is so prevalent on American radio stations.
This record is worth every penny and more. Dump (...) and take a gook look at this girl!

Untouchable talent, June 15, 2005
This review is from: Anastacia (Bonus CD) (Audio CD)
I first heard Anastacia about 5 years ago when "I'm Outta Love" was released and have been hooked every since. I actually paid about $50 dollars for this cd (insane to some of you I know) because it wasn't released in America until after it had been in Europe but it was worth every penny! This is her best cd yet, and I can't wait for her next release....Don't believe me? Just sample a few songs. As i said I love the whole cd but i seem to be singing "Sick and tired" at least once a week.

Great album by Anastacia, March 26, 2007
This review is from: Anastacia (Bonus CD) (Audio CD)
I'm putting in a review for the Anastacia album, which I've been waiting for since I first heard about this album, which was in late 2005. It's too bad that Sony Music made little effort to promote this album in North America, that they actually cancelled the North American version of this album, & forces Americans to buy the European version instead. This album takes a different direction, adding more of a rock sound, which she describes as Sprock (Soul, Pop, Rock). My overall favorite song on the album is Left Outside Alone, followed by Sick & Tired, & Heavy on My Heart. But all songs are good. This album also talks about her battle with breast cancer & overcoming it, particularly in Heavy On My Heart & Sick & Tired.
Since I got the limited CD/DVD edition, Just as fair warning about the DVD (Amazon needs to include this) that the DVD is in the PAL format (used in Europe & Australia), & not in the NTSC format (used in USA & Canada). So unless you have a multi-region NTSC/PAL DVD player, you won't be able to play the DVD. I plan to have the DVD converted so I can play it on any DVD player. I have 1 DVD player that will play PAL DVD's, but the other one only plays region 1 NTSC DVD's. If all you want is the Anastacia album without the DVD, Amazon has that version too.
