This work is more than a book of fresh, authentic, often painfully raw and honest one- and two-page poems that quietly invite you in and tug at your heart (all of which it is and does). The above-and-beyond factor of this particular book is the placement of each poem very diligently and delicately within the context of a brilliant metastructure that Strang created through well-placed supporting narratives that unite the concepts surrounding the human heart's physical anatomy with the human heart's powerful metaphysical and metaphorical aspects. The titles of each poem and narrative pillar breathe as much life and meaning into the experience of reading this bound-to-be-classic work as do the texture-rich details of each word within the eclectic poetic arrangements. The cover of the book has a special quality that resonates deeply with what appears inside. Even the pre-acknowledgment page is revealing and open in a way that one might not expect. This book will touch you.

I was privileged to personally walk the beaches of Kauai with Heather. We shared our lives, our insights, our hearts. She has had huge challenges in the area of love and yet still keeps the faith, learning and inspiring others, giving love the attention and glory it deserves. She is a real, deep, modest, insightful, caring reflector of the most precious gift to everyone and everything ~ L.O.V.E. ~ it truly makes the world go round! True love ~ being love ~ sharing love ~ crying love ~ laughing love ~ glowing love ~ SHOUTING LOVE ~ sweetly! Let's start singing..."what the world needs now is love, sweet love... :)

Beautifully written poems. They touched my heart, were funny and poignant and oh so true. I keep my book by my bedside. If you want your heart to be uplifted purchase this collection.

Heather Strang is fearless and forthcoming in the truths that we each face when we encounter love. Strang's writing style is fresh, daring and slightly unconventional which makes this collection of poems so inviting. Each time I re-read one of the poems I find another aspect that touches my soul at a deeper level.
She does an exquisite job at paralleling the anatomy of the human heart to that of the many facets of love. It's genius really. You'll love this part.
Whatever phase of love or relationships you find yourself in these poems will resonate with you because they are written from a place of real experience and authenticity. What a refreshing change!

I loved this collection of poems. They were realistic and touching and had a fresh down to earth voice too. I felt like my girl friend put her thoughts on the page conveying her deepest feelings. I would recomend these highly!
