A combination of both atlas and textbook material in a comprehensive package. "Atlas of the Anatomy of the Horse" provides all essential background information on the subject in a most concise and accessible format. The line diagram illustrations are complemented by high quality radiographs where appropriate. The organized and integrated approach succeeds in compressing extensive and essential subject matter into a practical and manageable format. This book provides a valuable learning tool for veterinary students, as well as an indispensible source of reference and refresher points for qualified practitioners. The main section of the book, Topographical Anatomy, contains a logical, geographical breakdown of the organ systems, identifying key anatomical and histological features in regional sections. Particular emphasis is placed on the interaction between the various structures, and this aspect is summarized in detailed tables in the respective Appendices of Regional Anatomy.
