5.0 out of 5 stars Overcoming the Odds, November 21, 2007
This review is from: An Anatomy Of An Illness (DVD)
Excellent biography of a magazine editor who, stricken with a debilitating spinal condition, refused to give up, ignored his Doctor's dire predictions, designed his own cure (massive doses Vitamin C and laughter therapy), and won the battle. It's fun to watch the stodgy doctors gloom and doom pronouncement washed away by sheer determination of the Ed Asner character as Norman Cousins. A great DVD of the story of Norman Cousins' healing through natural means: laughter and vitamin C. I recommend this to anyone dealing with any kind of illness.
