Book Description

October 21, 2009
Anatomy of the Soul bridges the chasm between science and religion by uniting the fields of theoretical physics, evolution, human health, consciousness and spirituality. The adventure begins with an intellectual journey into the past, present and future of the human existence, from the moment of the Big Bang, and proceeds through millions of years of evolution to modern day. The journey continues as heart disease, eating disorders, and cancer are all discussed in relationship to both our evolutionary past and our present-day spirituality. The final chapter explores a scientific theory of consciousness, and how it relates to our earthly origin, our spirituality and a higher power. Anatomy of the Soul will satisfy the quintessential question of why we are here, and why we intuitively search for more meaning to life.

About the Author

Wade M. Youngers is a full time practicing Chiropractor in the quaint little town of East Aurora, New York. He obtained a Doctorate in Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1997, graduating second in his class. His main interests while in graduate school were centered around neurology and psychoneouroimmunology (the study of the mind-body and immune system interactions). In 1998, Dr. Youngers completed additional training to become a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, which he practices both personally and professionally. After years of applied hypnotherapy and meditation practices, he began writing down his experiences, realizations, and personal transformation. His journey came full circle as he began practicing Reiki Tummo, which integrated heart-opening exercises with deep meditation. Anatomy of the Soul was born out of this greater understanding of himself, others, and our existence. He is in the process of completing a book on Fibromyalgia, as well as continuing his efforts on yet a deeper level of understanding the concepts brought forth from Anatomy of the Soul.

5.0 out of 5 stars Life Changing Book!, December 8, 2009
This review is from: Anatomy of the Soul: Exploring the Science, Philosophy, and Spirituality of Human Existence (Paperback)
Dr. Wade Youngers' book starts with an historical account of the development of humans beginning with the "Big Bang" theory. The middle section of his book provides a recipe for improving one's self physically, emotionally and spiritually. The last section explores the issues dealing with one's spirit, soul and mind. Each section helps the reader to reflect on how simple changes in one's thoughts and actions can make momumental impacts in health, consciousness and well being. Once I finished this book, I was able to incorporate minor changes in what I ate, thought, and acted. Each change has already brought about positive results. This book is life changing and should be read by anyone who is interested in finding "truth" within one's self.
