THIS IS TRULY A GREAT RECORD I LOVE THE MASTERFUL PLAYING OF FRANK EMILIO IN THE BEST TRADITION OF CLASSICAL CUBAN POPULAR MUSIC,IM LOOKING FORWARD TO GET MORE MATERIAL FROM THIS MAESTRO !

I love every song on this CD.

I had the opportunity to see him perform about 6 mos. before he died. In the audience, directly behind us, sat a group of little old ladies who started singing and dancing as soon as he began to play. It was truly magical and I am so thankful I was there. Since that time I have searched for anything and everything I could lay my hands on.

It also amazes me that he is not better known outside of Cuba.

This is a beautiful recording, done by a master of music. I am not an expert in Latin jazz, but as a music lover I cannot recommend this recording highly enough. Swinging and melodic, it has the feel of classical music, with a Latin theme. The musicians are all in fine form, and the CD is consistently excellent throughout. Well worth the price!
