I have a pair of these on either end of my bar, & they look great.

Note that you will have to assemble this wine rack yourself. The 2 uprights have a top & bottom, & the bottoms have pre-drilled pilot holes for attaching to the base. The instructions did not call for for it, but I used a small amount of wood glue between each of the joints & the end product is perfectly stable even loaded with 12 bottles. Highly recommend.

I received the wine rack as advertised. The product is very attractive and functional, as it requires little counter space for holding 12 bottles. However, as I noted in other reviews, assembly was very frustrating. This is the reason for the 3 star rating. The product was difficult to 'key' into place, and upon completion, was somewhat shaky. I wasn't confident that the structure would hold the weight of 12 bottles. However, I reassembled the rack this time using carpenters glue (and rubber bands to keep everything in place for drying time). This time the product remained sturdy and looks great on the counter top.

After reading a few positive and negative reviews, I decided to go ahead and try out this item since it is inexpensive. I'm really glad I got it. It's a wonderful wine rack. It's sturdy and looks great! It does require self assembly which contributes to the low cost. The stability and durability does depend on the skills of the assembly person. I'm a very handy petite female and have always enjoyed putting together furniture parts like Ikea furniture. Not all of Ikea furniture are made with materials that are meant to last a lifetime like particle wood. However, most of Ikea's furniture can last for years if they are put together properly. This item, fortunately, is made of solid wood and bamboo. So, if the tongue and groove joints are lined up in the proper position and the screws are inserted straight in, then this rack will last for years to come. The curved bamboo racks are made with the design to carry significant weight. I did not require a second pair of hands to put this together and it only took me 15 minutes or less. It requires minimal precision to get the tongue and grooves to line up and once that is done then make sure the screws go in straight. If they don't go in straight don't force them in. That's when the wood can split and you've got a shoddy rack. It takes little patience and it will come together smoothly. If you're the type of person who hates putting stuff together then it's not for you. Otherwise, get someone who likes to put things together to do it. When it's assembled nicely, it will be a very nice and functional wine rack.

I was concerned before I bought it, since many had complainted about the installation. Actully, it's easy to install. The skills required to put it together are not more than for the project at Lowes' kids program. :-)Very happy about the purchase !

Nice looking wine rack--modern look. It didn't fit together real straight. Even though the cross sections did not fit evenly in the vertical parts, it seemed to be sturdy enough.

I read a lot about the flimseyness of this rack...and yes...it sure is...but...if you put it together,then squirt some type of clear super glue on both sides of all the joints...it's solid as a rock...
Assembly is super easy I thought...never reading the instructions. Put the towers on the bases first,but loose. The slots in each for the shelves face opposite directions. Install all the shelves,squirt some glue between the tower and base,and tighten....then glue the shelves in place. In an hour or so...it's solid.
I give it 2 thumbs up for quality,looks,and function...we love it and get lots of comments on it.

oh..shipping was super fast to...we got it in 2 days in perfect condition.

I read a previous review about using a little wood glue on all the joints and it worked great.
This rack is very easy to put together, just remember to keep the uprights the same,there is a top and bottom.(bottom has pre-drilled holes)
One of my screw heads for the bottom was not finished, so I had to find a substitue. That is the only negative.
Very sturdy, but realize it is not heavy, since the wood is bamboo. Great value.

Wanted to get a wine rack, that didn't fit 50 bottles, but still looked good. This one is both and is great. People that had trouble putting this together, should just spend $100 on something assembled. There are 4 screws that hold the base on and the way the shelves are they will not come out once the base is on. Some spots are a little loose, but you have to keep in mind that this is a stationary item and it doesnt need to be solid.

Do not buy this. I opened the box and assembly seems easy enough...you slide the shelves into each other in an inter-locked way, then screw the base supports in and you are done. However, even with a second set of hands helping it was impossible to get the screws going without the thing (shelves) shifting around and then getting out of line so you have to start all over. After a ton of frustration I finally got it only to have the screw drive in and split the entire shelf part! Looking at it I don't see how it could not split, the screw looks almost as wide as the piece of cheap wood it's going into.

Although a little tricky to put together, once it's ready it's awesome!! It's a nifty little wine rack and it's sturdier than it looks if you put it together correctly. Very happy with my purchase.
