Yes, inexpensive, and unfortunately yes, poorly made. They look pretty but break easily. Would not buy again.

I love these glasses. They do have a seam as one reviewer complained, but it has never bothered me. They are heavy enough to feel sturdy (we are EXTREMELY hard on our glassware and dishes, and so far in over a year of use we haven't broken one yet! I have dropped a few and clinked them together when putting away, and not so much as a chip).

I love the design; it is elegant enough to entertain with but sturdy enough for everyday use. The feel in your hand is perfect too; I hate a glass that is too large or too small for my hands, or with a shape that just doesn't fit well... this is a perfect fit!

My husband and I needed to buy a new set of everyday glasses. We decided on this set because they are American made. We love the look of these glasses as well as the price, but are concerned as to the overall quality. The first shipment arrived with one glass shattered and another grossly misshapen. Amazon replaced the set, but the new set still doesn't have great overall quality with obvious seams and slightly misshapen edges.

I gave these a two star rating because shipping was fairly quick and nothing was broken. I will however not buy these again and will replace this set. The glasses have seams, like a pair of pants or something. Never saw anything like it. They are not heavy and break easily, not good for a family with children. I usually like Anchor products, but not this set!

I bought these as Starfire from Anchor Hocking. They are very sturdy, not to heavy, excellent in the dishwasher. Excellent set for the money and for everyday use.

Very nice set for the money, I didn't have to pay very much thanks to Amazon's great sales they have. Very happy with this purchase.

We received these as a wedding present several years ago, over half the set was broken within the first 3 years. My husband and I are NOT hard on glasses, but these are just pathetic. They look beautiful, but are too thin at the top to be durable. Actually my husband sliced his hand open while washing the inside of one of them, it snapped from him wiping it with a dishrag! Sadly the glasses we prefer to use are the ones we got for $3 from a thrift store, and NONE of them have broken!

The glasses are great. Unfortunately, They were not packaged very well & two of the glasses were broken when they arrived.

Perfect for the price. Glasses are real nice. They almost have a hit of blue to them, which I like. A very good buy for price.

These came in perfect condition, were exactly as pictured, and are what I was expecting when I ordered them. The seam that others have mentioned is hardly noticeable. I think it's a great price for what I got.
