This is a good bowl set. I use it all the time in my kitchen. The shape is sophisticated and the size is perfect for mixing batter as well as for tossing salads. The bowls are sturdy and heavy and won't chip or crack easily.
You can buy this set for about half the price at your local Walmart store. I've found that Amazon prices are the best in general. However, for certain items like this one, it's not.

EXCELLENT! I searched and searched for these bowls. They are featured on several FOOD NETWORK programs but not on their shopping service. I believe that there is a 4th smaller size(maybe 2 cup). Would like to find this also. These bowls are good for prep also and nice enough to go right to the table.

These bowls are better than what I expected. They are perfect for all of the mixing functions in the kitchen. They are also good looking enough that my wife and I leave them nested on the kitchen counter for decoratiton also. They look just like the bowls many of the chefs on Food Network use which is why I wanted them. Amazon also shipped them to me fast. Thanks Amazon.com for a great product.

I purchased the 4-piece set (1qt, 2qt, 3qt, 4qt) of these splatter bowls from Kohl's this past Christmas (it was on a deep discount of $19 for the whole set) and loved the bowls when they arrived. Like the other reviewers, I do appreciate their form and function. However, I pressed my luck and used the 2qt bowl as a makeshift double boiler, not realizing these bowls are not heat-safe. It cracked after the second use. So please don't make the same mistake I did. For every other use (salad prep & serve, batter mixing, marinating, etc), the bowls are perfect. Also, I'm not sure why this set is twice as expensive on Amazon than it is at Kohl's when Amazon is missing the 1qt bowl from the set, and the bowls themselves can't withstand heat like less expensive Pyrex prep bowls.

First of all, I admit I store my mixing bowls nested. That should not have accounted for the immediate chip on the rim of the big bowl right after taking them out of the box. The next chip happened the second time I pulled the bowls from the cupboard.
After a long search to have those favorite Anne Burrell/Guy Fieri bowls (I really like their shape), they proved to be too fragile for regular use...

I would NOT recommend this purchase.

She especially likes how they have high sides, so when she uses a hand mixer food isn't thrown everywhere. They are high-quality, made in America glass.

I ordered a set of these bowls as a Christmas gift for my mother.. With that said, it was poorly wrapped and one of the glass bowls made it!! the other two where shattered and one was cracked!! I have been charged double for this crappy item for returning the cracked bowl and throwing away the shattered ones.. Don't recommend anyone buy these set of bowls from this so called "AMAZON LLC" company!! Have a good day!!!!

This 3-piece set is great. They are robust and can nest so they don't take up a lot of real estate in my kitchen. They are also dishwasher safe, which is nice. I never really had clear mixing bowls, but as I cook and bake more, I appreciate the fact that I can see through the bowls and determine whether things are properly mixed. They also make a great salad serving bowl. I'd highly recommend!
