just as the other reviewer noted, the product is great (nice heavy glass, well-fitted lids that can easily run through the dishwasher), but only if yours happens to arrive intact. i ordered two boxes and in both cases found the bottom round bowls that were nested together had turned into glass hunks and dust. besides the obvious safety issues, this is just such an avoidable waste of time for everyone involved-more padding in the box bottom would have easily prevented the breakage. not feeling comfortable returning boxes full of broken glass, i have put a call into the manufacturer for individual replacement pieces. will update with results!

Update: Just a few days after calling Anchor Hocking, I received replacements for the broken pieces. Much better than trying to send everything back to Amazon and risking another box of broken stuff. Thanks, Anchor Hocking! Product is now worthy of 5 stars :).

Nothing wrong with the product but packaged poorly....ultimately recieved 6 sets...4 out of six sets had broken pieces. Eventually gave up trying to get the three unbroken sets that I originally ordered.

I bought a few different sizes of the Anchor Hocking Glass and Plastic Lid sets. Within 2 months, the plastic lids started to crack. They were pretty useless after that since they don't stay on the glassware. I contacted the Anchor company because the box says they have a 5 year warranty on their product. They responded by saying that the 5 year warranty only covers their glass parts. The lids are not made by Anchor since they purchase it from a 3rd party company. Then they recommended I go to their website dedicated to buying additional lids. If a company has to open a website to sell ADDITIONAL LIDS, that cleary indicateds a BIG PROBLEM with their lids. Save your money and don't invest in any Anchor Hocking storage glassware. I bought the Pyrex ones instead and haven't had any problems. Their lids are better quality and more flexible.
