just as the other reviewer noted, the product is great (nice heavy glass, well-fitted lids that can easily run through the dishwasher), but only if yours happens to arrive intact. i ordered two boxes and in both cases found the bottom round bowls that were nested together had turned into glass hunks and dust. besides the obvious safety issues, this is just such an avoidable waste of time for everyone involved-more padding in the box bottom would have easily prevented the breakage. not feeling comfortable returning boxes full of broken glass, i have put a call into the manufacturer for individual replacement pieces. will update with results!

Update: Just a few days after calling Anchor Hocking, I received replacements for the broken pieces. Much better than trying to send everything back to Amazon and risking another box of broken stuff. Thanks, Anchor Hocking! Product is now worthy of 5 stars :).

Nothing wrong with the product but packaged poorly....ultimately recieved 6 sets...4 out of six sets had broken pieces. Eventually gave up trying to get the three unbroken sets that I originally ordered.

I bought a few different sizes of the Anchor Hocking Glass and Plastic Lid sets. Within 2 months, the plastic lids started to crack. They were pretty useless after that since they don't stay on the glassware. I contacted the Anchor company because the box says they have a 5 year warranty on their product. They responded by saying that the 5 year warranty only covers their glass parts. The lids are not made by Anchor since they purchase it from a 3rd party company. Then they recommended I go to their website dedicated to buying additional lids. If a company has to open a website to sell ADDITIONAL LIDS, that cleary indicateds a BIG PROBLEM with their lids. Save your money and don't invest in any Anchor Hocking storage glassware. I bought the Pyrex ones instead and haven't had any problems. Their lids are better quality and more flexible.

I bought this product less than a year ago and already the lids have cracked. They are also not easy to separate from glass portion. Would not recommend. Waste of money.

Do not even consider buying Anchor Hocking products. I have a collection of Anchor Hocking glass containers. They are defective. The lids tear, making them unuseable, despite the fact that I never put them in the dishwasher. Today I went online and tried to get free replacements, which are no longer available. Then I wasted an hour trying unsuccessfully to pay for replacement lids. The site would not accept my order, which I entered several times. The I called the customer service line and was told nothing could be done. The company does not accept phone orders. Catch 22, and a waste of a lot of valuable time!

One of the bowls in this 36 piece set arrived broken for me also. I also ordered the Pyrex 18 piece round set with this order. Those bowls arrived intact and also seem to be better quality. Save yourself the trouble, skip ordering this product!

Perfect solution to organizing your kitchen. I got it as a gift and ended up getting a lot more for my friends, they loved it!

I was skeptic about buying this set but it was such a great deal i took the chance. I am so happy about my decision. The glass is heavy and durable and the lips is just a bonus! They lids fit securely and work great in the microwave. I bought the set 4 months ago and use these containers weekly! Great for taking my lunch to work and bringing dishes over to my familys house.

I strongly recomend this purchase!!!!

I bought 3 storage containers.

Went with these since they were cheaper than Pyrex.

Shouldn't have done so.

Red plastic lid on one container began to crack in the center after only 3 months. Got a free replacement from Anchor 4 weeks later. However, they told me that other replacement lids would have to be purchased.

Come 11 months later,and all my other lids have cracking on the seal areas.

Not buying this brand again.

I have had repeated problems with the rubber lids on Anchor Hocking glassware. The glass is good, but without a sealed top that doesn't warp, not fit, crack or otherwise behave in worthless manner, what good is a 'storage' unit.
