These bowls have a beautiful shape and look very nice on the dining table. I love these bowls, and use them every day. I use them for my vegetable stews and curries. I also use them as salad serving bowls & salads look great in them. They are beautifully designed and great for tossed salads for 2 to 10, depending on the bowl you use. They are quite heavy, sturdy and easy to maintain. I throw mine into the dishwasher. I bought my set for Walmart for about the same price. I'd have bought it from amazon.com had I known that they carried it. I'm thinking of getting a second set. At Walmart, you can buy individual bowls. The smallest one can be used as individual soup bowls.

These are great mixing bowls, at a terrific price. They go in oven and microwave, they are strong, the steep sides facilitate mixing and scraping out, they balance on the palm of your hand which comes in handy, they stack comfortably in less cupboard space, and they're Anchor Hocking quality. I love 'em! CORRECTION These bowls are not microwave safe.

I just received my bowls in the mail and they are very nice. I was expecting them to have a bit higher sides. They are not exactly like the ones that you see on the Food Network but they are very close and totally worth the $19.99 price tag.

I can't wait to start using them!

Ordered these bowls and they are Awesome! They are most similar to Tyler's and work great! Btw, Tyler's bowl is the "Superbowl" by Bodum -- Tyler's set crew identified them on another website. He actually has a whole nesting set of the Bodum bowls, but Bodum has discontinued them unfortunately. I've been hunting for them as well -- for over 9 months, and even emailed the company hoping to find a way to acquire the set. Anchor Hocking's set is a very close second. Their shape and feel is excellent. I'm hoping people will contact A.H. and try to convince them to manufacture a 6qt. and an 8qt. for the set.

I really like the look of these bowls. I can't really say how they are to use as I bought them as a gift. I just wish I could find the really big one that Tyler Florence uses on his show. I believe that it is a lot bigger than these are.

These bowls are just beautiful. I have been trying to find them elsewhere and found them on Amazon. They really would be perfect for mixing as well as using as a salad bowl or serving other foods. I would recommend them.

These are they bowls used by Tyler Florence on his Ultimate show. They are wonderful to use and the price on Amazon is so reasonable. I ordered two sets, one came in with a chip in one of the bowls, they replaced the whole set immediately. Great bowls, great service !

Saw these used by several chefs/cooks on Food Network and have been looking for them for a long time! Love the way they look, and appreciate the splashproof feature! Use them all the time and highly recommend them! And a better price here on Amazon.
