I looked everywhere for a nice, simple design. I must have browsed hundreds of different styles. Anchor Hocking's Bolera set is just right - simple but not obviously. The bottoms are nicely weighted. Apparently the glass is also pretty durable. I'm constantly dropping them, (not on purpose) and not one has broken yet.
