The quality of the dishes in this Anchor Hocking set is reasonably close to the Pyrex set that I also have, but the carrier itself is much better in the Pyrex set. The Pyrex carrier is sturdier and has more insulation, and the Anchor Hocking carrier is already cracking a bit in places after being used only a couple of times.

While this set is very useful if you regularly take casseroles to church dinners or other events, I mainly wanted it to take home-cooked meals over whenever we visit our son. He lives about an hour away. I can place one covered dish into the insulated bag and strap the other on top with the microwavable heating pack. This keeps both hot and ready to serve when we arrive.

I purchased 6 of these sets for my dinner co-op. When they arrived there were cracks in 4 out of 6 sets. I am glad Amazon replaced them for no charge, however I am still unhappy with the product. The lids are way too loose. Multiple times during transport liquid has spilled out. I bought them because they were a good deal, but wish I had stayed with Pyrex...a much better choice.

I have used it twice so far for taking dishes to family gatherings and so far so good. I wish they would include a second carrier even if it means paying extra. There are times when I have to take two dishes to gatherings.

The first bake n take set cover's zipper tab broke off at first use. The glass baking dish had visible flaws in it. The store where it was purchased replaced the set, although none could be found that did not have flaws in the glass dish. Upon first use of the replacement bake n take, the cover's zipper opened up from the middle after if was zipped shut. The velcro on the handle came loose with first use. I would not recommend this product.

Pros: Easy to use, nice color, great for baking in, economical/less expensive than similar items.

Cons: The sides of the glass dishes could stand to be a 1/2 inch higher - they're relatively shallow. Also, food can leak out of the dishes and into the carrier.

Over all: I'd highly recommend this item and I'm glad I have it.

Perfect, had searched the internet an this was the best deal. Thought I wanted a round 2 qt also but this rectanglar one is perfect

Love this great value! I like that you can carry both baking dishes without spills and keep them warm.
