5.0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Gift for Cooking Friends and Family!
When it comes to casserole dishes and other glassware for the kitchen there is only one name that I trust -- Anchor Hocking. One of the primary reasons I love their cookware is because it is still Made in the USA and you can tell -- the quality is just fantastic.

2.0 out of 5 stars Didn't Last Very Long - Very Disappointed
Put this on my registry based upon the review and product description. Barely owned for two months and just as I was making dinner, the largest platter shattered in the oven. Hello, is this not "bakeware"? So disappointed it's not even funny.

I already had Pyrex on the registry and needed a different set, as we keep a kosher kitchen and I needed to make the...

When it comes to casserole dishes and other glassware for the kitchen there is only one name that I trust -- Anchor Hocking. One of the primary reasons I love their cookware is because it is still Made in the USA and you can tell -- the quality is just fantastic.

The glass is thick, and I can tell you I've dropped the casserole dish once or twice off the counter and had no problems with it cracking or breaking. You really can tell the difference between a quality set like this and the "cheaper" stuff you find in the stores. Keep in mind that the quality of your food depends on what you use to cook it in. You might save a few bucks buying a cheaper set, but you will pay for it down the road. It only takes one burnt dish!

One of the great things about glass cookware is it is so versatile. You can literally bake your casserole, serve it from the dish and then store the leftovers in the fridge with the included blue covers! Ready for leftovers? Just take the lid off and pop it in the microwave or oven to reheat and enjoy!

A quality set from a very customer-oriented company that believes in quality. If you have a friend or family member who is into cooking this is a great gift that won't break the bank. If you love to cook it's a great set to splurge on knowing you'll be using it for many years (and perhaps even generations) to come! Anchor Hocking has been making glassware and bakeware for over 100 years right here in the USA -- you just can't go wrong with products from this company!

I already had Pyrex on the registry and needed a different set, as we keep a kosher kitchen and I needed to make the distinction. Will never purchase any Anchor products again; I guess I will try to find the size of Pyrex with a red top. That brand a much better than this. Do not buy, unless you never plan to bake anything!
