I was very pleased with the clarity of glass. The main reason for purchasing was because of the size. Other dishes were too large.

I was searching everywhere for some classy and fun glasses that I could serve ice cream in and boy did I hit the jackpot with this set!!! It's fabulous, great quality, and can be used at any occasion. You can also put anything in it like fruit, ice cream, pudding, the list goes on and on. It does great in my dishwasher also. It's also very very reasonably priced you just can't go wrong especially considering the amount of glasses you get! You won't regret this purchase.

These are pretty ice cream dishes, but they are mismarked- there is no way they have a 12 ounce capacity. I got them yesterday and fit a large ice cream scoop in, but that was it- there's no room for fudge sauce, whipped cream, etc. which is what I was looking forward to in getting some special ice cream dishes! I poured water from my measuring cup into the dish and it barely registered 5 ounces, NOT 12 ounces. If you want a nice dish to just put one scoop of ice cream in or a small serving of fruit salad, then these dishes are for you. However, if you like 2 scoops of ice cream or toppings on your one scoop, you will be disappointed and will find these dishes too small. I am still on the hunt for some similar ice cream dishes but about twice the size...

Our family received the ice-cream dishes today. While they are very pretty, they are MUCH smaller than the picture seemed to indicate. I had a had time fitting even one regular sized scoop of ice-cream in one. A bit disappointed that it wasn't bigger.

I read the reviews of these that said they weren't 12 ounces, but really wanted ice cream glasses, so I bought them anyway. The reviews are right- these are small, holding between 5 and 6 ounces (I measured with water). Amazon really needs to change the description. However, they are a fine size for our family. We were able to fit one large scoop of ice cream in them, with some hot fudge sauce on top. I don't want us be eating huge servings of ice cream, anyway. Four stars because the description is wrong. Other than that, they are perfect- pretty, dishwasher safe, and just fun to use. Our kids were so excited to have thier own ice cream sundae glass.

I bought these for my grandson's first birthday party, and they're the perfect size. They have gotten alot of use since, too. Besides ice cream, they're perfect for seafood cocktails.

These glasses are thick, affordable, stylish and a good value for your money. They are reminiscent of the ice cream shops back in the 'good old days." Anchor Hocking always produces glassware and ovenware which are economical, and sturdy, thus lasting a lifetime. Why change your product when the product sells itself. Continue to produce quality and the merchandise will sell itself. Don't mess up a good thing, is what I say. A good buy.

This is NOT a 12-oz sundae glass, it is closer to 4.5-oz. Very thick and the perfect size glass for a very small portion and a little bit of topping (though whipped cream would be pushing it).

I have just received the Anchor Hocking ice cream bowls. They are so cute and would certainly be at home on an old time soda fountain. I think they are just the right size. Ice cream is not the healthiest treat after all. Best of all these glasses were made in the USA. We need more of this. They have a heavy composition so I know they will be practical.

The product is okay since the bottom of 2 of them have tiny bumps on them. Another reviewer suggested to take a spoon and file down... will see what to do about them. I believe there is room for improvement; quality control needs to inspect the glasses a bit more carefully. The design is nice and it holds just enough for 1 serving (with diet in mind.) On the other hand, if you like a large serving, then these are definitely too small.
