I have given up on metal and silicon loaf pans. Love the results from my products baked in glass. Glass produces the desired browned and crispy crust and never will rust or turn color. And, it is always dishwasher reliable.

I think it is heinous that manufacturers of metal cookware keep purveying "non-stick" coatings on the uneducated populace: the coating is carcinogenic so when you scratch it with a metal knife (for cutting meatloaf, etc.) you are loosening the non-stick chemical and ingesting it. That is why the companies say to only use wood or plastic utensils on these wares. So these glass loaf pans solve the problem beautifully.

I have had 2 of these pans for 5 years and absolutely love them. I have a gas oven and other types of pans will dry out my bread, burn them, or cook them unevenly but with these my loaves come out perfect every time. Plus with these pans you don't have to worry about them scratching or rusting or the dangers of nonstick plus these are very easy to clean-up (which is great since I don't have a dish washer!). Oh, and all Anchor Hocking products are made in the US. Would highly recommend.
