I needed juice glasses and the 5 oz. ones are very hard to find. In the product description for these fruit juice glasses is the following: "Plus, their neutral appearance means they layer tastefully with dinnerware pieces of all colors and shapes. Casual enough for kid-friendly meals and family dinners, yet refined enough to set out for cocktail parties or formal occasions" Of my 12 glasses 4 were, what I would consider tactilely and visually OK. 5 were visually out of round and 3 were severely out of round (the outside diameter half-way up the glass ranged from 57mm to 60mm). In the latter case, the flattened shape could easily be detected by holding the glass. I kept 10 of the "best" and tossed the other 2. In all my (considerable) years of buying drinking glasses of various sorts from fine leaded crystal from Macy's (but also from Amazon.com) to daily use ware from Target, I have never seen such poor quality control (Or should I say, these defects are allowed in Anchor Hocking's quality control). It's as if Anchor included 4 glasses from the 1st quality glasses rolling off the Production line, 4 glasses culled from the Production line intended for another market and 4 glasses which would have been crushed and recycled for the next batch! I'm disappointed but don't plan to return the glasses because the next batch would be similar. We have several Anchor Hocking glass measuring cups of various sizes and these are top quality.

Heavy base is nice - the grandkids didn't tip the glass over very easily! Very space conservative, although they do not stack. For servicability I would give it a five. I gave it a four because it is so plain looking and the inside of the base is not parallel to the bottom - like it cooled at an angle. But the price was great and these should last us a long time.

We have looked everywhere for real juice glasses - not those great big things that make you drink more than you want or need. These are perfect. They feel good in your hand - good weight, and they balance very well - don't tip over easily. We love them!

Anchor Hocking makes good glasses for a reaonable price. When you break 'em you don't shed a tear - you just replace 'em.

I had been looking for 'juice glasses' for over three years - just this size and couldn't find them anywhere. Their size can be used for various liquids and are so useful and great to hold. Thank you!

Very pleased with these juice glasses, not clunky just the right size The price was just great. If you don't like the clunky glasses they sell out there I highly recommened this glasses,

I love these glasses. The heavy base keeps the toddlers from tipping them over as these glasses are just the right size for their little hands. Plus, they are true juice glasses.

Since I used these glasses for a beer tasting party, they worked perfectly. If I was using them for something a bit more formal, I would have been disappointed. Some of the glasses are definite irregulars; swirls of glass threads, uneven bottoms inside, different thicknesses. For the price and my purpose, they fit the bill.

I was hesitant about ordering these glasses after reading some of the previous reviews. The ones I received are in good shape, with none of the problems others have stated. My purpose in buying these is to use them for small desserts (i.e. small parfaits, puddings, etc.) to take to church pitch-in dinners. People seem to like having the individual servings already prepared. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
